Westcott Rapid Box Switch 1x4 Fold-Flat Softbox & Grid

Description

Westcott Rapid Box Switch 1×4 Fold-Flat Softbox & Grid
The redesigned Westcott Rapid Box Switch 1×4 is a portable strip softbox that creates soft, directional light. It opens to full size in one second and folds flat for easy storage and transport. Its long, narrow 1×4' shape adds edge definition to portraits, fashion images, and athletic subjects, while also creating controlled highlights for product photography. A convenient interchangeable mounting system supports a wide range of compatible lights, with a Bowens Switch Insert and 55° Egg Crate Grid included.

Opens Fast, Packs Flat
Two built-in handles on the back provide a secure grip for instantly opening the softbox and make it easier to position. A quick-release button collapses it flat with one press. Its slim profile takes up less space in your bag or case, making it easier to bring professional lighting wherever your next shoot takes you.

Bowens Mount Included
The included Bowens Switch Insert attaches instantly and locks securely for quick, hassle-free setup. It fits many popular lights, including the Westcott FJ800, FJ400 Series, FJ250, and L120-B LED.

Switch Lights Easily
The interchangeable Switch mounting system helps you get more from the lighting gear you already own. Additional inserts are available separately for other compatible strobes, speedlights, and LEDs, so you can use the same softbox across different lighting systems.

Precise Control with the Included Grid
The included 55° egg crate grid directs light where you want it and controls unwanted spill. It helps keep light off backgrounds and eliminates lens flare, giving you more control over the mood and direction of your lighting for portraits, products, and video. The grid attaches quickly and packs flat with the softbox.

Smooth, Consistent Light
A reflective silver interior maximizes output, while neutral inner and outer diffusion soften the light for smooth, even illumination. The diffusion fabrics maintain true-to-life color for natural skin tones, accurate product colors, and consistent results across photo and video shoots.

More Ways to Shape Your Light
From close-up headshots to fashion, full-length portraits, interviews, products, and group photography, the Rapid Box Switch family offers shapes and sizes for a wide range of shooting scenarios.

Lightweight, durable framework and heat-resistant fabrics provide dependable performance in the studio and on location, backed by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
